According to Feb 22nd article on the New York Times this week, regarding the rising tide in the Philippines, it states that “…climate change, with its rising sea levels, appears to be dooming a place that has no elevation to spare.”
More than 23,000 people in the Philippines died from natural hazards from 1997 to 2016, according to the Asian Development Bank.
NASA scientists at present are researching how to combat the drowning of some of the Mississippi delta due to rising sea levels at home.
